The employees are clueless, so don't go in and ask for suggestions as apparently they don't read any books on top of that they are rude. The books are not organized in any order, watch them run around trying to figure out where stuff is . It's sad cause the mall is slowly going the way of the Buffalo, but if you want to look around on your own with out any help I suppose you might find something. And don't order from here either as you pay up front and they will send your paid for merchandise back !!! No joke .

Helpful staff. Nice selection. If they don't have something, they help order or find it.

Still a great book store if you need the real thing. Good staff are helpful on obscure searches. Wish they had more magazines.

If I could go less than 1 I would. As teacher for over 30 years, I have dealt with Coles before, but not always in person or at the Orillia location. This store is alful. The staff were rude and argumentative. I had been searching for a particular book as a Christmas gift and could not find it. I tried on line where I ordered 2 others, but not available. Ended up dealing with Wonderful, extremely helpful people at the Coles in Newmarket, then Napanee and finally Guelph. All went above and beyond to help locate a copy of the book. Guelph was going to send it to the Orillia store for pick up. But I had to get Orillia to request a transfer. That was done with no problem. But was made to feel like I was really putting them out. Then one of my other orders was in and I went to pick up. Found the one from Guelph was in too. Could not buy it yet as not in inventory. Would be done next day when manager was in. Days later I received the call. Went to get book. It was now more money that the price on it when I first looked at it, and what the other stores had told me. I also knew the condition was not perfect, but had inspected it the first time I saw it and was ok, now more fingered and marked up, with bottom edge very rough. I MENTIONED THIS AND WAS TOLD IT HAPPENED IN TRANSIT. NO WAY. I had already seen it and the price tag that had been on it was gone. Staff argued with me and charged for a new condition book. Asked for number of head office and phoned and talked to customer service, also not caring. Funny to way to run a business. Guess they don't need a good reputation or repeat customers.I will never purchase there again.
